This three-day conference offers a time for emerging and experienced leaders to step back and reflect together on the challenges of career, relationships, family, community life and faith. Intimate in size, this annual gathering is targeted for those exploring or committed to the Christian faith and features renowned speakers, musicians, worship, excellent teaching and great fellowship.

Telemachus offers workshops focusing on critical life issues necessary for living intentionally. Workshops are often hosted by emerging leaders for groups of 15 to 100 people and have been offered throughout the US.

Life Vision Workshop

This workshop is conducted for both emerging and experienced leaders. It is led by Rick Woolworth, founder of Telemachus, and Jill Woolworth, a marriage and family therapist, who present a strategic framework to facilitate thought provoking self-examination that helps participants achieve clarity of purpose and direction in their lives. The workshop provides interactive teaching with small group breakout sessions to maximize learning from others. Areas of focus include:

  • Personal giftedness and passions
  • Developing a long term success roadmap
  • Identifying a personal board of directors
  • Averting potential time bombs

Dating and Marriage Workshop

Jill and Rick Woolworth share their lessons learned and “best practices” from 40 years of marriage. The workshop is for both singles desiring a healthy and honoring approach to dating as well as young couples that want to develop vibrant marriages and nurturing environments for raising children.

small group

We encourage members of the Telemachus community to meet regularly as local groups. These intergenerational friendships are strengthened by living life together and encouraging and guiding one another through the opportunities and challenges we each face.

The meeting format can vary and develop organically. For example, there is a group of couples and singles in Houston that gather for dinner once a month. There is another group of two generations of women who meet monthly in Fairfield County, CT.

Emerging and experienced leaders often form one-on-one friendships, which evolve into a mutually beneficial mentoring relationship. These relationships are happening locally and across geographical locations.
